Buster Food Cube Large Size (Colors May Vary) Review

Buster Food Cube Large Size (Colors May Vary)
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
We have a Buster cube, a Pawprints giggle treat ball, and several Kongs (and similar toys). Our smart mutt (who seems to be some kind of herding dog) loves this toy. I pull it out whenever he seems bored or depressed. It has never failed to cheer him up. He immediately starts playing with the cube, usually for 15 minutes to about 40 minutes at a time.
Our lab has never figured the Buster Cube out, though. We bought a Pawprints treat ball (easier to use than the Buster Cube) for the lab but he chewed it up to get the treats out instead of hitting it around. (He did learn to hit the Pawprints treat ball around after we taped the hole he chewed in it but he gives up pretty quickly.)
Our mutt likes all kinds of treat toys but he likes the Buster Cube the best bc it's the most challenging. He'll play with it for about a while, then come back later (if we put more treats in ;). He likes the other treat cubes, too, but generally gets bored with them faster than he does the Buster Cube.
The cube is very durable. We've had the same one for several years. Our lab hasn't chewed through the Buster Cube in the 3 years we've had the lab, even though he destroys most dog toys (even the TireBiter toys), sometimes in a minute or two.
Downsides: the toy is noisy on hardwood or tile floors. Also, the dog bangs it into walls, furniture, etc. It's hard to clean and hard to open. I don't bother to open it, i just pour treats in the middle, shake them through the hole, and turn the cube several times.
Overall, an excellent toy for smart dogs who don't mind working for a treat. Your dog will probably either love it or ignore it. If your dog likes challenges, go for it. S/he'll probably play with this toy for hours.

Great China Colossal Octopus Plush Chew Toy Review

This was the product ordered, but I received an entirely different Octopus. Ozbo called the supplier and they said they couldn't pick out the color. It wasn't just another color, it was a different toy! Ozbo said they'd remove it from their website and would not charge me for the toy. I found it elsewhere. Beware of Great China!

KONG Classic Kong Dog Toy, Red Review

KONG Classic Kong Dog Toy, Red
Average Reviews:

My German shepherd loves this toy. As both my husband and I work we have to leave her alone for 8 hours a day. I give her a kong filled with treats each morning and often when I get home that she is still working on getting the stuff out. Any toy that keeps this chewing machine occupied for that long is worth its weight in gold!

Atomic Treat Ball - 3" Review

Atomic Treat Ball - 3
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
My Australian Shepherd eats every meal out of his Molecuball. It helps get some of his energy out and stimulates his brain a bit. The shape of the ball makes it a little trickier to get out food than other treat balls. Doggie has to work for it! However, he has gotten very good at getting his kibble out quite fast. He carries the ball around everywhere hoping I will continue to feed him.
This ball is extremely durable and makes minimal noise. It can roll on the carpet. It is a softer plastic, not a hard, noisy plastic...like some similar treat balls on the market.

Premier Pet Waggle Dog Toy Review

Premier Pet Waggle Dog Toy
Average Reviews:

This toy has provided countless hours of enjoyment for our dog. We have a 65lb labrador greyhound mix. She eats most toys and is not fond of kongs once the stuffing is out (but she is not able to eat the kongs beyond the soft puppy one). This toy is great because the hole is small, yet there are little prongs you can cut to make the toy less challenging. I think she enjoys the noise the treats make inside the balls. Larger treats of course take her longer to get out, but stuffing it with her food works just fine most of the time. She realyl enjoys all of the Busy Buddy products - Squirel Dude is great but the saucer got old quickly for her.

Nina Ottosson Dog Turbo dog puzzle game Review

Nina Ottosson Dog Turbo dog puzzle game
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
The puzzle toys usually go over great in our household, but this one is just too difficult to figure out so far for my Shepherd and Ridgeback. The Shepherd usually catches on pretty quickly, but he doesn't understand that he has to pull the little knobs toward himself to get the treat. Maybe if the knobs were larger, he'd have an easier time of it, but as it is, he just continues to smack the toy ineffectually and chew at the hole where the treat drops out.

We have had this toy since my Lab Mix was 6 weeks old, and she's 11 months now. Any toy that can withstand a Lab pup and their crazy antics, is a great toy in my book. I am ordering a new one for her right now.

We gave this to our leagle (lab/beagle mix) and she loved it. It bounces erratically and is fun to chase. The ridges also make it fun to chew. Unfortunately, with in 15 minutes of gnawing, she was able to start removing tiny pieces of rubber. Normally, Kongs (unlike many other toys) prove indestructible to her . . . not this one. Great toy if your dog is not a strong chewer.

I bought this toy for my 8 month french bulldog a couple of weeks ago and he loves it. I usually set it up for him 2-3 times a week and he is so excited when he sees me getting it ready. At first I was worried that his flat face would prevent him from getting the treats but he has no problem. I would recommend this for anyone that wants to boycott boring toys.

Great toy! It keeps my two dogs busy for a long period of time. I do wish that the length would have been listed, it is 3 feet long. However, I was hoping it would be the 6 foot long rope that our pet store has trouble keeping in stock, but this length almost seems to be better. I would definitely buy this product again.

Everlasting Treat Ball Dog Toy, Medium Blue Review

Everlasting Treat Ball Dog Toy, Medium Blue
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
My 2 shelties can not get enough of their everlasting treat balls. For those unfamiliar with it, the product is a basically a virtually indestructible ball shaped holder for the everlasting treatball flavored treats. There is a slot for the treats on either side of the ball, although the first time you buy it, only one side has a treat in it. Each treat lasts my dogs about 2-3 days, and they chew on it all the time! I'm sure the time it takes a dog to go through it certainly varies by the dog. We replace the treats every few days and they are constantly entertained.
We make sure the dogs get plenty of exercise and mental stimulation, but it seems they still have a habit of chewing things. Ever since we got the everlasting treat balls, we've seen a drastic reduction in the amount of other items that get destroyed by their chewing. I can't recommend these enough.... the dogs love them, there are plenty of flavors to choose from when you need to replace the treats, and it gives me a nice break from constantly having to watch over the dogs to make sure they aren't getting into things they shouldn't be.
My only qualm about the treats is the price. At $20-25 for the holder and one treat, and $5-6 for each 2-pack of additional treats, they aren't exactly cheap. For what you get though, I highly recommend them to anyone who has a dog who loves to chew.
The medium size seems to be perfect for my 20lb shelties - maybe slightly on the big side.

KONG Wobbler, Dog Toy, Small Review

KONG Wobbler, Dog Toy, Small
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Got this for my bichon who is about 1 year old and 11 lbs. This is a good size for him. I use it to give part of his meal so that he doesn't inhale his food too fast. He tends to 'wobble' it by pushing it around with his nose, instead of pawing at it. The hole size and placement are good in that the dog has to work for things to fall out. It'll usually be 2-4 kibbles that come out at a time. It's hard material so can be noisy if it bumps against walls. I wish the bottom and maybe the widest ring sides were the rubber kong material so it would stay in place a little better and not be as noisy. Otherwise, fun and functional.

Canine Genius Leo Dog Toy - 8" Assorted Review

Canine Genius Leo Dog Toy - 8 Assorted
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I really wanted to love the Leo. It's a hollow toy with an open neck and two cross-cut holes so you can stuff it with kibble or other treats. What's cool about it is that you can connect as many Leos as you want to form a long chain, and the food can travel from one Leo to the next. It also comes in some fun colors, which I liked.
Unfortunately I was not blown away by the toy. Here's why.
It's expensive. But $18 on a toy doesn't bother me if it's well constructed, durable and can keep my dog entertained for awhile. However, within one minute (I kid you not) of giving her two Leos, she damaged the necks. In one toy, she cracked the neck and in the other toy, she chomped off a piece of the neck, which I subsequently had to retrieve from her mouth. It didn't seem like a safe thing to ingest. So that was $30+ down the drain and we didn't even get to enjoy them for more than 60 seconds. What a waste of money.
I looked at the pamphlet that came with the toy and in bold letters it says "The Leo is a treat-release toy, not a chew toy." So I guess I'm the idiot for not reading the fine print.
I did read on the Canine Genius website that they sell a regular version (for medium-soft chewers) and an extra version (for medium+ chewers). However, this is not well marked at all - in fact I completely missed this on their packaging. So Canine Genius, if you're reading this, I suggest you do a better job with your messaging. It's contradictory (why would you have a version for medium-soft chewers and for another version for medium+ chewers if this is not a chew toy?) and unclear (a. you should do a better job in upleveling your messaging about this not being a chew toy and b. if you sell two different versions, you should show this on your packaging).
Given my experience, brief as it was, with this product, I cannot recommend this toy.

MultiVet SlimCat Interactive Toy and Food Dispenser Review

MultiVet SlimCat Interactive Toy and Food Dispenser
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
My cat loves to eat. He will eat until he throws up if given the chance. He scarfs his meals and then runs over to eat my other cat's food. It has been annoying having to wait around for cat #2 to finish eating, or having to lock them in separate rooms for meals. That's where the food ball came in. My cat took to it in seconds. He knew his food was in there rattling around and it clicked for him immediately. This video is actually his first time using it, and he successfully ate the whole meal this way. With cat #2 safely eating his dinner from his bowl and cat #1 preoccupied with his new food ball, they finished at the same time and no food was stolen! This has been the PERFECT fix for an annoying multiple-cat situation!

Your cat loves to play, hunt, and eat. The MultiVet SlimCat Food Distributor Ball lets your pet do all three at the same time. Just fill the SlimCat with .67 cup of dry cat food. Adjust the hole in the SlimCat to let one piece of food pass through easily. As your cat chases and bats the SlimCat around the room, one piece of food at a time will exit the ball. This allows you to control how fast your pet eats and provide him with hours of stimulating play. Small portions several times a day will improve his digestion. The SlimCat also satisfies your cat's inherent need to hunt. Solve your cat's behavioral problems by enriching and satisfying his environmental needs through exercise. Wash the FDA-approved plastic SlimCat in your dishwasher or with hot soapy water. Safe for cats of all breeds, ages, and sizes.

Booda SoftBite Carrot (Medium) -- 1 Toy Review

Booda SoftBite Carrot (Medium) -- 1 Toy
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
The Booda Soft Bite Medium Carrot Dog Toy is our dog's favorite toy! She adores it! More durable than most of the toys we have tried, this carrot is one of the few toys that she has not destroyed within 24 hours. The squeaker has a great sound, better than those in other squeaker toys we have tried. The squealer is easy for her to work and loud and interesting enough to keep her interested but not so loud or irritating to be obnoxious --- which is a real plus since she loves to play with it over and over and over again. Our puppy loves the sound so much that she enjoys experimenting with the different sounds she can make even more than chewing it! The shape makes it easy for her to carry it in her mouth for such games as fetch. She also likes to cuddle with her head on this soft toy.
We adopted a rescue puppy who was terrified of just about everything, including toys. Her initial reaction to this toy was wonderful! This toy helped her come out of her shell and be less afraid of noise in general. I was not sure if the toy would be scary or not but once she found the squeaker noises, she just loved being able to play and make noise herself, making all sorts of variations and rhythms. Although there are many additional things we are doing to help her, this toy was an important step in breaking through her fears. Playing with this toy seemed to embolden her, bringing out this sense of delight and play in her. In addition to an overall very high recommendation of this product for puppies in general, I would add a special recommendation for special needs or rescue puppies as a possible tool to help initial bonding to the owner and to help him/her break through their fears. We now order this product in multiple quantities so we can have one in every room!

Multipet Migrators Mallard Duck Dog Toy Review

Multipet Migrators Mallard Duck Dog Toy
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
These ducks are not the standard stuffed ducks us dog owners are used to seeing in the pet stores. These are mini. I mean mini (about 2-inches in length). If I give this to my 70+ Lb. shepherd he would likely choke on it.
The fact that these are mini is in no way clearly advertised. It is listed under product description only. Actual dimension are not provided to the consumer. I am of the opinion that this product is being advertised in a deceptive way. I plan to file a complaint with Amazon. I feel that I have been ripped off. They charged $5.99 in shipping that I cannot recoup. I'm not so concerned with the money as I am with the level of dishonesty I perceive in the advertising of this product from PetFoodDirect.com.
Most dog owners are familiar with the normal size (about 12 inches in length) stuffed ducks. I've never seen these "mini" ducks before. I am of the opinion that I have been taken advantage of.
I would strongly suggest against purchasing anything from this company.
