(More customer reviews)I started giving these to my precious doggie about 5 months ago along with brewers yeast/garlic tabs. I noticed 2 things. #1- where did the fleas go? ok, maybe it was the garlic tabs. #2- where is the February shed? By this time his hair becomes my carpet, but I can actually see my carpet. His shedding has becomed a self sustained wonder. I never knew this was the normal way a dog sheds. His coat is changing color and density and I am seeing extremely limited, almost none, hair on the carpets. I do have to admit I am using both pills, in conjunction, so i can't say its this one or the other by itself. I do have a feeling the pet tabs are controlling the shed situation, but the combo is extremely potent. If you do buy these it might be a good idea to get the brewers yeast/garlic tabs as well. 5 stars for this wonderful product and the fact that they made it with a flavor that my dog can't resist.

The picture shown holds 180 soft chews. The package I paid for and received, which is a small pouch, contained 60 chews. I tried multiple times, both by phone and e-mail, to contact the seller and received no response. Had I known that I had purchased 60 chews and not 180, I never would have made this purchase.

It's tastey. Of course, I speak only from observation. It makes a brown gravy when mixed with warm water and added to dry food. My dogs gobble it up and it looks yummy.
I love it because I know I am supporting their health from the inside out. Even though I buy a high-end, nutrient-packed dry dog food, I noticed their coat and skin quality improved when I began adding NuPro Joint Support. Of course I purchased it for one of my dogs with severe hip dysplasia. I added it to both dogs' food just because I wanted them both to have the benefit of the nutritional boost. (Can't play favorites!)
My dog with hip dysplasia, Wolfer, was given 4 years to live because he was born with malformed hips and I was told the pain would kill him and he wouldn't be able to walk. He was on a regimine of only NuPro and a supplement called Glycoflex for 8 years before I had to start him on medications for pain (Deramax). He lived to be 12. He swam, he ran lickety-split through tall grass, played with Jazzy (my other younger bigger dog) and followed me up and down steep steps in our house many times a day. On the last day of his life, we took a swim.
Was it just the NuPro? Probably not. But I'm sure it had a part to play in both the length of his life and the quality of the time he had with me.
Now Jazzy is older, stiff and limps a little. You can be sure she gets her daily scoop and a half of NuPro in her "dinner" every day. She deserves the best and NuPro helps me provide that for her. Scrappy, her younger Terrier-mix playmate who scoots around and is full of pep also gets the supplement in his food. I consider it prevention.
It's expensive, but I feel it is worth the expense when I see the obvious health, vigor and longevity of my beloved pound-puppies. I took on a responsibility to care for them when I adopted them. Nupro is part of the "care package."

We've gone through it all, from weekly vet visits, to yeast treatments, injected steriods and califlowered ear canals. I felt so bad for him! Not only was there a constant stink (either from an infection or the latest medication) but one ear had been so badly damaged, he could no longer raise it and it was always lopsided, hangly limply against the side of his head.
Today I'm writing this and he's looking at me with both ears perked! The smell is gone, the gunk has cleared out and his ear cleanings are now a breeze. Thank you to this amazing product! Not only did it clear up the problem in a few weeks, its smell 100x better than everything else we used. I got my dog back.

She dislocated her hip at the age of five and we were told her arthritis was too severe to pin her hip, so we had her leg bone chopped off so it no longer reaches her hip. More than six years later and 20 pounds lighter, she jogs daily and is in great health. The old girl can move pain-free now and she loves the taste. People are amazed when I tell them her age. I bought these (and the 360 count ones) and they have been in love with them from the beginning. All 5 of my dogs. I take one pill and split it in half. Everyone gets a half. Obviously, you can't see the results but I feel as if they're healthier for using it. Plus, I give a whole pill when they are pregnant to make sure they get enough healthy vitamins and minerals.

(More customer reviews)I purchased Nupro Joint Support about 6 weeks ago. My 9 year old Lab has arthritis and was in pain even though I have been giving him a prescription drub obtained from my vet. The drug has been helpful, but with the introduction of Nupro Joint Support, Monty is almost back to top form. He can play frisbee again without limping after a play session. He can also swim vigorously again. AND HE LOVES THE TASTE!! I mix it in with his dry food, and then moisten it all with warm water. It has a rich, meaty aroma. He gulpts it right down. His coat most certainly has a sheen to it again. This is a cost effect, and reliable product. I recommend it highly.
