(More customer reviews)We have a Labrador retriever. We've gotten him a bunch of different toys, and he just destroys them, plush toys in particular (stuffed artificial ducks and the like). We got this for him and gave it to him for his first birthday (back in April). He loved it. At two weeks in, my wife and I were talking about how it's the longest lasting toy he has other than the ones he just ignores. Over time, it lost a few tentacles. Since he loved it so much, constantly playing with it, we got a "Big Squeak Gator" in preparation for the day this finally met its end.
I was impressed with the Jellyfish. He finally tore it in half yesterday (November 1). Since he got the thing 2/3 through April and plays with it constantly, this was a great thing for us. We gave him the Gator, thinking it would last. Half an hour later, he had torn through the covering on the Gator, because he was able to tear through the eyes. The jellyfish didn't have anywhere for him to gain purchase and destroy the whole thing; the worst he could do was remove a tentacle. (The gator was torn in half by this evening; it survived about 24 hours.)
